rtoy has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/mediacapture-record: == Required encoding types? == It would be really useful to have some encoding type that is required to be supported by all browsers. In particular for WebAudio, it would be great to require support for some lossless audio format such as FLAC so that you can record audio and play it back without any artifacts introduced by the encoding.
