@burnburn Maybe. The remaining concern (interop) seems like a WebRTC issue, not mediacapture. FWIW in Firefox we're currently working on [turning off camera/microphone when all tracks are disabled](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1299515).
