Re: HTML5 book recommendation?

Hehe - thanks for the plug. :-)

Mark Pilgrim's book is a general introduction to HTML5 - an
all-rounder. If you are more keen on the media aspects of HTML5, my
book goes into more detail there. Depending on what you want to teach,
of course.

Then there is also

the book by Opera's Bruce Lawson and Remy Sharpe. Pretty good
introductory.

All of these are from people involved in the standardisation, so up to
speed on things. Don't take it from others that are just outside and
trying to interpret the spec.
