RE: minutes of today's call

Dear Paolo,

actually I think that the issue of whether we need a notion of template and
its realtion with an AIU is not completely solved, but I think we can
converge soon,

[[Jean:]] I have read your comments. The main thing that we would like to
support is the capability to specify that a particular AUI could serve as a
AUI. We can of course discuss this during the F2F meeting in Munich. If
there is a change needed, I believe that it will be very loca.

[[Jean:]]

Thanks a lot,

Jean

Hi Dave,

p.s. can anyone provide a summary of where we are in respect to publishing
the Abstract UI model specification document?

[[Jean:]] All the fields (classes, attributes, relationships) of the AUI
meta-model have been defined. We do not see any other pending comment since
a while now. So, I believe that we can proceed further. Of course, we can
discuss it also during the Munich F2F meeting.

We certainly need to proceed with some concrete examples to convince our
audience. Perhaps we can prepare one or two for the F2F meeting.

All the best,
Jean
