I think we should not open the can of worms to find another time slot.
According to my experience a fixed time slot works best for community
groups. I would not see a low number of participants as indicator for no
interest, but rather as trust in those who do participate.

For example, we could have weekly meetings at alternating time slots to
accomodate more time zones.
