Yes.

We just need to accept the fact that a single immutable URI is
impractical on the Internet. I've always had numerous URIs that identity
me, and stuff that matters to me.

I've also taken on the responsibility of maintaining relations based on
these URIs (where owl:sameAs usage is one of many).

Example:

{ [] schema:mainEntityOfPage <https://tinyurl.com/nye8wb6> . }.

Just click on the tinyurl above and follow-your-nose as per usual :)

Fundamentally, we need to look to high-level end-user tools to make these matters easier to deal with.

Our particular contributions include:

1. http://osds.openlinksw.com -- RDF Extractor, Transformer, Editor, LOD Cloud Lookup, SPARQL Query Editor etc. Browser Extension
2. http://osde.openlinksw.com -- RDF Editor (available in Hosted form with a Browser Extension on its way to public release)
3. http://youid.openlinksw.com -- WebID utility (available as an extension too).

We also collaborated with @csarven on Dokieli [1] to produce a browser extension. Thing here is that without actively reading, writing, and publishing RDF content, many of these issues become distractions that impede broader adoption.
