Research Assistant Position in Semantic Web applied to Biomedical Sciences (Insight/DERI)

The Health Care and Life Sciences Unit at Insight @ NUIGalway [1,2] has a
research assistant position open for the creation of a Semantic Framework
for Finite Element biomedical simulations. If you are a computer scientist
looking for a real problem in an applied domain, this is a great
opportunity to engage and learn from domain experts in the area of
biomedical simulation. The project has the duration of two years.

Position Requirements

- Excellent programming skills in Java (industry experience is a strong
plus)

- Bachelors degree in computer science, maths, science or engineering (MSc
is a plus)

- Preference will be given by candidates with Semantic Web/Linked Data
expertise

- Good English communication skills
