2 Java Developers for Semantic and Linked Data Solutions Wanted My team aims to be the leader in semantic technologies for the financial services sector. If you are a seasoned Java Developer with an interest in applying this technology to deliver real business value then this is the team to be in. Our team exists in the Commercial and Investment Bank and we have two Java Developer roles available in Glasgow. Semantic and Linked Data are a key technology focus within the firm and this is an opportunity to contribute to a new technology in its early stage of adoption. Knowledge of RDF/OWL/SPARQL is good but we need you to have the following to be able to deliver real business solutions: Strong core Java J2EE with Java 5+ with experience of web application development (http/jquery), servlet engines(Tomcat), Hibernate/JPA, Spring, Junit/TestNG, Maven, Git/Subversion), XML/XQuery, RDBMS (preferably Oracle), in an Eclipse and Unix/Linux production environment.
