Hi There,

My name is John Walker and I work for NXP Semiconductors looking at ways to improve our product data and product information management and publication processes.
Over the past months we have been looking at how Linked Data can simplify the integration and publication of data leading to an improved common understanding of what all this data means.

I recently published a blog post giving a quite high-level overview of what we've done so far and future plans:

I realize this is maybe preaching to the converted and the content is probably all familiar to subscribers to this kind of list, but thought you might be interested to see the Semantic Web and Linked Data ideas being picked up in large businesses.
