RAE2008 Linked Data

Possibly only of interest to UK people (and maybe not even to them!)

While doing some stuff, I tripped over the https://www.jisc-collections.ac.uk/Project-Merit/ site.
The MERIT Project says it is finished now, but very sensibly they still make their data available.
They make the publication data that was gathered for the UK's Research Assessment Exercise available in convenient form.

So it seemed a sensible idea to process it into RDF.
I have done so, and the result is at http://rae2008.rkbexplorer.com/
It is only (all the) the journal papers, and not all the metadata.
This is because I am not sure how useful it is (although it does give institutional affiliations), so decided not to spend too much time on it.

There is also a CoReference Service, so URIs can be linked to other sources, e.g.
http://rae2008.rkbexplorer.com/crs/export/?uri=http://rae2008.rkbexplorer.com/id/person-264159
Of course, all this linkage is also in http://sameas.org

As I say, I am not sure it is worth putting any more work into making it better, but if someone wants to use it, please tell me what you want.

Best
Hugh
