[Linked Open Vocabularies (LOV)] New Search feature

Hello all,

We are pleased to announce the brand new Linked Open Vocabularies Search
feature [1] . You have now the possiblity to search among the ever growing
number of vocabularies in the LOV catalogue (170 and counting) for
properties or classes. To improve your search experience, a ranking
algorithm computes results score based on metrics about the use of
vocabularies in the Semantic Web. Stats per vocabulary element are
available here [2].

Search queries are performed on the LOV Aggregator endpoint [3] which
aggregates all vocabularies in a single endpoint/dump file. While a
vocabulary is aggregated, for each vocabulary element (class or property),
an explicit link rdfs:isDefinedBy to the vocabulary it belongs to is added.

Feel free to submit us a new vocabulary [4] in order to include it in the
LOV catalogue.

Thanks to Openlink LOD data cloud server [5] team for data on vocabulary
usage in the LOD.
Linked Open Vocabularies is mainly developped in the framework of Datalift
project [6] which aims at developping a platform for data formalization.

<3 We wish you all an happy new year, full of LOV <3
