PhD Position at KIT

We are currently seeking applications for a job  as research assistant 
(TV-L, E 13 http://oeffentlicher-dienst.info/tv-l/berlin/stufen.html) in 
the knowledge management research group led by Prof. Dr. Rudi Studer. In 
particular this position would involve making practical use of semantic 
technologies for linked (open) data and APIs / services and processes / 
mash-ups.

This position would involve collaboration within the Karlsruhe Service 
Research Institute (KSRI, http://www.ksri.kit.edu), an interdisciplinary 
team of computer scientists, information managers, industrial engineers 
and economists, dedicated to "Service Research".

If you have a very good university degree in computer science or a 
related field, seek a PhD and are interested in team-oriented project 
and research work at the international level, we look forward to 
receiving your application. Programming experience would be an 
advantage, as prototypes will be developed during the post. Though not a 
requirement any exposure to the use of semantic technologies (triple 
stores, reasoners, etc.) and/or distributed programming (e.g., Hadoop) 
would be beneficial.
