I updated the site and data set. I fixed the sitemap file so it should work
now.

http://species.geospecies.org/sitemap.gz

It mainly shows the rdf data dump location:
http://rdf.geospecies.org/geospecies.rdf.tar.gz

Also you should be able to crawl the data starting with this file:

http://species.geospecies.org/index.rdf
