New JSON-LD Editor's Draft: 2011-09-11

Hi folks,

There is a new JSON-LD editors draft available here:

http://json-ld.org/spec/ED/20110911/

The diff-marked version can be found here:

http://json-ld.org/spec/ED/20110911/diff-20110817.html

Major changes in this version of the spec:

* Compromise on CURIEs - still supported, but called "prefixes" now.
* No more basic spec, so removed bugs related to Basic spec.
* Fixed inconsistencies in IANA section.
* The API now defines exceptions to throw when things go wrong.
* Specified backslash-escape conformance criteria
* Defined the term "Web Vocabulary" and attempted to use it more
   consistently.
* Removed the use of the term "semantic web" and instead just use
   the term "Web".

ISSUEs 2, 1, 10, 13, 22, 20, 26, 23, and 24 have been closed. If you
disagree with the action of closing any of these bugs, please re-open
them and state the reason why you feel that the bug was closed in error:

I also went through and cleaned up the minutes a bit more (by fixing
scrawl.js) to show the proposals/resolutions more clearly. Many, many
thanks to Gregg for chairing the last meeting and Dave Lehn for scribing:
