IoT and ILP

Has anyone in the group been giving any thought to how payments might work
in a world where autonomous machines will want to pay other machines or
people and how this might work?

I think ILP has a role to play because if you use ILP you eliminate the
need for payers to select a payment instrument/account which is an
interaction you'd need to avoid for autonomous payments.

This feels like a topic worth exploring at our workshop on the 25th but
only if there is interest. Is there?
