Immersive Instructional Design Event before the June Face-to-face

(sending to public-immersive-web because apparently some people in the CG
aren't on internal-immersive-web)

Hello, immersive web people!

If you will be in Portland for the June Face-to-face meeting then you are
invited to an "Immersive Instructional Design" event that will happen at
2pm of the previous day.

To register go to this meetup link
<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-future-of-instructional-design-on-the-immersive-web-tickets-60712247968>
and use the password "webxr"

I'm working with Jessica Outlaw (director of the new Center for Immersive
Technology at Concordia University) to bring in instructional designers who
have already experimented with XR and to match them up with people working
on the immersive web. The goal is strengthen our understanding of how
improve the reach and quality of education using existing and web XR
technologies.

We'll probably head out to dinner and drinks after the event so this is a
good opportunity to learn from each other and then spend a bit of time
reconnecting as a group.

If you have any questions about transportation and attendance then please
email me.
