MS Word display problem earlier this year

Some of us noticed around the beginning of the year that MS Word was not displaying NNBSP sequences correctly. After some time of discussions with the Office group, Aaron Bell with Microsoft, informed us last week of the solution. Prior to 2016, all OpenType substitutions could be done with the calt tag. MS Office Word moved to the rclt tag for substitutions somewhere around February of this year. Font developers should be aware of this issue. The solution we have adopted under Baiti is to keep substitutions under calt. But at the same time place the same substitutions under rclt. This will allow for backwards compatibility with applications that still use the calt tag. Once we the calt subs to the rclt tag last weekend in Baiti the display problems cleared up immediately.

Is anyone else experiencing NNBSP display issues under MS Word?
