Hello Steven, and HTML Working Group,

This is a reply from the ITS Working Group to your last call comment
"[Comment on ITS WD] Use XHTML Modularization" about the
Internationalization Tag Set 1.0 LC WD [1], which you made at [2]. We
also discussed the issue at [3].

The ITS Working Group agreed to use XHTML modularization to define an
ITS DTD and Schemas. We decided to leave the schema definitions in the
"Internationalization Tag Set 1.0" draft as they are, and to describe
the XHTML modularization of ITS in a separate document on "Best
Practices for XML Internationalization". The current public draft of
that document, which does not contain the XHTML modularization yet, is
at [4] .

Please let us know within two weeks whether you are fine with our
resolution.

Regards,

Felix
