http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=3408 Summary: The attribute name "translate" may be confusing Product: ITS Version: LastCall Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P3 Component: ITS tagset AssignedTo: fsasaki@w3.org ReportedBy: kuro@basistech.com QAContact: public-i18n-its@w3.org Probaby this has been debated many times before, but let me file my opinion any way. To me, translate="yes", sounds like the element *must* be translated, rather than it may be translated. Perhaps translatable="yes" is better?
