Hi all,

For anyone interested: I've worked a little bit on trying out how ITS could be used directly with JSON and put some of that here:
https://www.w3.org/International/its/wiki/JSON+ITS. Any feedback is welcome.

To test the concept I've implemented a simple JSON+ITS reader/writer as well.
It's the one of the 'json' packages in the Acorn project.
