Re: ITS Mapping Update - What is the plan?

Renat, all,

the XLIFF TC hasn't started yet any specific work on transferring the wiki
content into XLIFF spec core/module structure. The obvious reasons being
work on the 2.0 publication and vacations..

This said, work on that is about to start as of mid September, so imminent.

If you have specific feedback to the wiki mapping, it would be great if
you'd shared and it, got vetted and incorporated in the wiki text within
days, so that it makes the transition to the XLIFF spec.

This said, it would be great to have Logrus on the XLIFF TC team[*], so
that you can have continued influence onto the ITS 2.0 incorporation into
the XLIFF 2.1 spec.

The spec should be technically stable by the end of 2014 and reference
implementations should be more or less in place in November 2014.
If these are hit then we can have 2.1 with full ITS support next summer..

Being an associate member with only one representative is affordable. This
is how Yves contributes. Individual membership is even cheaper..
