@upsuper when you say 'host' language, do you mean: 1. use the side that is normal for the language which has emphasis marks? ie. different for embedded ja text than for surrounding zh text. 2. use the side that is normal for the surrounding language? ie. the same for embedded ja text as for surrounding zh text.
