Since the last status report ... * A Touch Events PAG <http://www.w3.org/2012/01/touch-pag-charter> was started because of Apple's patent disclosures <http://www.w3.org/2004/01/pp-impl/45559/status#current-disclosures> for the Touch Events spec <http://www.w3.org/2012/01/touch-pag-charter> (now in CR). The PAG is now having weekly calls <https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/member-te-pag/> and operates with Member confidentiality. Because of this PAG, the WG has stopped work on the Touch Events spec and we do not plan to continue working on that spec until the PAG has concluded and/or makes a recommendation to the WG. * The AC review for WAI's Independent UI WG (aka Indie UI) ended February 24 <http://www.w3.org/2011/11/indie-ui-charter>. This charter includes two specs that are joint deliverables with the Web Events WG. Agenda topic for the March 23 call: what is the status of the Indie UI WG? -Art Barstow
