1. The Working Group has been rechartered until July 31, 2013.
(http://www.w3.org/2011/03/mmi-charter) Our work during this charter period
will focus on bringing the MMI Architecture and Interfaces and Emotion
Markup Language specifications to Recommendation, and continuing work on
EMMA 1.1 and Modality Component Discovery and Registration. 
2. The Multimodal Architecture and Interfaces specification just became a
Candidate Recommendation (http://www.w3.org/News/2012#entry-9319). 
The CR period is scheduled to end February 29.
