As there haven't been any objections, I will mark ISSUE-39 [1] as

RESOLVED: Document in the specification how errors or (possible/potential) statuses in general can be given an identifier (a IRI) that can then be directly reused in responses. This allows clients to recognize particular states/errors and, in some cases, automatically recover.

The issue will be closed when the changes have been implemented in the specification.
