Skyphire provided an extremely convincing argument of how unsound autofocus is.
The partial solution is appreciated, but Skyphire's points are valid, the 
arguments sound, and I agree: we should never have added autofocus to the HTML5
spec. 

Since your solution did not remove the element, I'm elevating this to a Tracker
Request.
