This not only provides insight into the categorization and thinking that 
is behind the current conformance requirements for authors, it provides 
specific examples which illustrate the problems being solved.

This anchors the discussion.  I'll start separate discussion threads on 
specific issues, and point out specific instances where I perceive the 
rules to be inconsistently applied, or do not achieve the intended 
results.  Depending on how those discussions go, specific bugs or 
changes proposals may be produced.
