specifies

"The accept  attribute may be specified to provide user agents with a
hint of what file types the server will be able to accept."

I believe this should be reworded to state:

"The accept  attribute may be specified to provide user agents with a
hint of what file types will be accepted."

This is because the file input element can be used for client-side
file reading [1].
