I just checked in a change that allows alternate style sheet views of the spec to be made that hide or highlight implementation requirements (as opposed to text aimed at authors). I also added brief descriptions of most of the DOM APIs so that they still have author-visible explanations even with the implementation requirements hidden. You can play with this in the WHATWG version of the spec with a browser that supports alternative style sheets (just Firefox or Opera, as far as I'm aware), but at some point I'll add some UI to make that more obvious, more flexible and to make it work in more browsers. -- Ian Hickson U+1047E )\._.,--....,'``. fL http://ln.hixie.ch/ U+263A /, _.. \ _\ ;`._ ,.
