Woah, I always thought by "hegemony" you meant this WG's leadership, 
namely Sam and Chris. Now I'm confused. Why are you raising issues with 
the WHATWG steering committee in the W3C group? That's weird.

If you have problems with the WHATWG, please raise them with the WHATWG, 
we shouldn't waste the time of the W3C HTMLWG participants with WHATWG 
process issues.
