           Summary: character encoding mapping needs to be used for form
                    submission too
           Product: HTML WG
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Spec bugs
        AssignedTo: dave.null@w3.org
        ReportedBy: annevk@opera.com
         QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
                CC: ian@hixie.ch, mike@w3.org, public-html@w3.org

For the purposes of form submission character encodings need to be mapped as
well. E.g. iso88591 => windows1252.

(They should probably be mapped everywhere, likely also outside the context of
HTML5...)
