In May 2007 I counted how many people mentioned accessibility in the Tasks and Interests Survey. My results: <http://projectcerbera.com/blog/2007/05#accessibility> A few days ago I repeated the count: <http://projectcerbera.com/blog/2008/03#day11> The summary: [[[ Only 2% of HTMLWG Participants had recorded their interest in accessibility by May 2007. 4.5% have now done so. Recorded interest has more than doubled from from 2% to 4.5% over the past 10 months. ]]] If you are interested in improving the accessibility features of HTML5, please say so in the Tasks and Interests Survey: <http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/40318/tasks83/results> Only 25% of Participants has answered the survey. This has risen from the 16% who had answered in in May 2007. If we take the people who fill in the Tasks and Interests Survey to be representative of the group as a whole, interest has risen by 50% from 12% to 18% over the past 10 months. But only 4.5% have actually said so in the survey. See you in another 10 months. :-) -- Ben 'Cerbera' Millard Collections of Interesting Data Tables <http://sitesurgeon.co.uk/tables/>Received on Tuesday, 18 March 2008 15:06:40 GMT
