IMG WIDTH/HEIGHT attributes (was: [whatwg] Video proposals)

That would require an ideal specification in the first place; per
HTML 4.01, it is the explicit purpose of the WIDTH and HEIGHT attributes
to override the intrinsic dimensions (if any) of images and objects,
integer values representing a length unit that is normatively defined in
CSS 1. That doesn’t precisely make it “meta information”, or incorrect
to put it into CSS, does it?

I'm happy that somebody cared to bring that up here. :)
