Ratios is Stylistically Different To Other Number Algorithms (part of detailed review of common microsyntaxes)

While the rest of the number algorithms are described in terms of  
variables, ratios only ever has three variables: number1, number2,  
and denominator. Shouldn't the spec be consistent with itself and use  
the same style throughout?
