I think, that preview of picture must be in document, not in explorer for file system. First reason. User can fill other widgets after attaching graphic file, thus hi can forget how picture looks (especially if he go other room or speak with colleague between filling widgets). Second reason. Maybe documents has many uploading pictures, and pictures must be co-ordinated, complementary to each other. User must not keep ten pictures in mind, but hi must see ten pictures on display.
