It would be crazy to throw that work away. Let's start with that and  
improve what we feel needs to be.

Ian has more than proven his ability as an editor. I am fully  
confident in his capacity to lead this, as well as being the person  
making discussions happen between this WG and WHATWG.

If anyone else wants to step up, I say let'em. But a week is more  
than enough to do so. Let's not waste time on the things we can  
control. We'll have plenty of occasions to waste our time along the  
way with the unexpected.
