Hixie has added the script into the WHATWG pipeline now, so it 
automatically produces
   http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/
along with the original single-page version.

It's using the code from 
http://html5.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/spec-splitter/ which is under the 
Apache License 2.0 - I assume any potential W3C-related issues would be 
sorted out easily, if the WHATWG work is adopted.
