I have no strong preference between using Bugzilla and GitHub provided bugs can be migrated from one to the other cleanly. The Audio WG migrated to GitHub and hasn’t yet figured out a clean way to clear out the Bugzilla content.

At the recent F2F meeting I believe we agreed to continue using Bugzilla for reporting EME bugs. Accepting change proposals in the form of pull requests is up to the Editors (in my view).

Does this mean that github issues and pull requests can be used for bugs/contributions? That would make it so much easier for me to participate (for better or worse).

As discussed at TPAC and per Action 70, the EME source control repository has been moved to GitHub. Please use https://w3c.github.io/encrypted-media/ when referencing the Editor's Draft.

EME files on the dvcs server now redirect to GitHub, but the dvcs server may be decommissioned in the future.

Thanks to Mike Smith for getting us set up on GitHub!

MSE will be following a similar path soon, and there will be a separate announcement.

David
