Hi Ivan, All, It's great to see RDFa Lite 1.1 progressing so fast! I agree with Ivan that changes to the semantics of property should be included in RDFa Core 1.1 and simply inherited into Lite. It seems that the last remaining issues are related to chaining. Contrary to popular belief, chaining is used in schema.org, even in simple examples such as Person and Product. In microdata, itemprop is used both to provide simple attribute values and for chaining, i.e. to provide another item as value. We should look at (1) whether to allow 'property' to be used for chaining and (2) whether the typeof can be on the same element as property/rel when chaining. These two changes would bring RDFa Lite 1.1 even closer to microdata. I see these changes already appear in [4]. In my view this is the way it should be (although I am not 100% sure this has been decided by the WG): this behaviour should be part of RDFa 1.1. Core, and not only for the Lite subset. Indeed, if it was part of Lite only, that would distort the important fact that the current Lite[2] is a strict subset of Core.
