This is correct. The only caveat, thought that is a separate discussion, that the RDFa Lite proposal singled out @content as being unused in RDFa Lite. Of course, that is still pending, but the question is whether this would also apply to the <meta> element where @content is the attribute explicitly called out by HTML as the attribute carrying the semantics of <meta>...

At this point my preference would be not to go into some sort of a radical change. I am still not sure it is warranted and it would cause a huge delay on all front. At the point where we are time is an essence, and I would prefer to finalize RDFa 1.1, both in the Lite and the Full version, as soon as we can... But that may be only me...

I was talking about the discussion...:-) But marking that particular rule with a special label, making it clear that for the completion of the new @property rules, and the answers to schema.org's concerns, that rule is not absolutely necessary, may be helpful.
