Hi Ivan:
Without having looked deeply into the vocab feature, I think that owl:equivalent*** etc. rules can be put on the client / triplestore and do not have to be defined at the RDFa syntax level, since in other syntaxes, such is also outside the scope of the syntax spec.

Browser extensions and other applications may need support for owl:equivalent*** etc., but again, that could be added to the respective APIs as a data cleansing / consolidation feature and kept separate from the parsing task.

Just my preliminary 2 cents.
