With regard to your comment in [1], I would like to encourage you to submit this item to the HTML WG via the W3C public Bugzilla system [2].

The HTML WG WG's Decision Policy Basic Process [3] is driven by the processing of Bugzilla entries so your comment is more likely to have an impact if you create a Bugzilla bug for it.

If you are unable to do this for a good reason, then please let the WG co-chairs know and one of us will arrange for this to be done for you.
