+1  Actually I cannot judge if that would be redundant because it
is anyway clear.  

But in the unrelated case of A9 opensearch XML it confuses me that
one browser treats <ShortName> Foo </ShortName> as different from
<ShortName>Foo</ShortName> or <link ... title="Foo" />.
