[Bug 27574] New: Document should incorporate longdesc

https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=27574

            Bug ID: 27574
           Summary: Document should incorporate longdesc
           Product: HTML WG
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows NT
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
Component: LC1 alt techniques (editor: Steven Faulkner)
          Assignee: faulkner.steve@gmail.com
          Reporter: shane@aptest.com
        QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
                CC: faulkner.steve@gmail.com, mike@w3.org,
                    public-html-admin@w3.org,
                    public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org

Since longdesc is now proceeding toward Recommendation, it will soon be part
of HTML5. This document should cover its use as well - when appropriate.

Section 1 needs to mention longdesc.

A couple of additional examples should be added to show situations when
longdesc might be a good choice.

Example 1.14 could be repurposed to use longdesc. The alt text is very long.
