[Bug 8278] why can't the frame number be requested? It's video, position is expressed in frames, not in seconds. a frames per second value could easily convert this to seconds from bugzilla@jessica.w3.org on 2013-03-19 (public-html-bugzilla@w3.org from March 2013)

Are there any implementors interested in exposing versions of currentTime,
fastSeek(), duration, and the TimeRanges accessors, in frames, for video data?
