          Priority: P2
            Bug ID: 19618
                CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-media@w3.org
          Assignee: adrianba@microsoft.com
Summary: need definition about key id and content id
        QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows NT
          Reporter: eric.sun@huawei.com
          Hardware: PC
            Status: NEW
           Version: unspecified
         Component: Encrypted Media Extensions
           Product: HTML WG

key id has been mentioned for many times in EME specification, key and key id
pair, key id in initialization data, but we are not clear about the key id's
definition, who create key id, and key id should be used in which entity, UA or
CDM, and how to update and match with key.

Also there is content id in specification of intitialization which is not
described.
