[Bug 12541] The asynchronous behaviour of steps 5-12 causes unexpected, unwanted behaviour when getting the currentTime immediately after it's been set.

I've taken the liberty to mark this as critical considering every major browser
vendor has implemented a "fixed" version, yet the spec still lists this bizarre
behaviour.
