Status: Did Not Understand Request
Change Description: no spec change
Rationale: I don't understand. Could you elaborate?

If you are asking what event fires when a user chooses something in from a
<datalist> to use in an <input type=text>, then: the 'input' event (oninput="")
fires when the user makes the selection, and the 'change' event (onchange="")
fires when the user leaves the control.
