Status: Rejected
Change Description: no spec change
Rationale: We actually had this in old Web Forms 2 drafts (it actually
normatively referenced XForms for a while!). However, we ended up dropping it:
   http://html5.org/tools/web-apps-tracker?from=2219&to=2220

If browsers pick it up, then it would be worth reconsidering, but in the
meantime it seems that the new input values we have introduced mostly address
the main use cases for this anyway, so it's somewhat less urgent than it was in
the past.
