Summary: 1.9.2 - Syntax Errors - Unclear Regarding HTML vs XML
                    Syntax
           Product: HTML WG
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson)
        AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch
        ReportedBy: glenn@skynav.com
         QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
                CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org,
                    public-html@w3.org

The heading and content of 1.9.2 is unclear with respect to whether the
descriptions of errors apply to HTML syntax or XML syntax of HTML5. It may be
better to segregate those errors that pertain to HTML syntax from those that
apply to XML syntax into two sub-sections.

Regards,
Glenn
